For more than 80 years, our United Way has brought people together to care for one another. We raise funds, mobilize volunteers, help to strengthen agencies and identify critical and unmet needs in the community.

The project for United Way of Greater St. Louis included converting three existing static ASP.NET web sites to DotNetNuke to allow for ease of maintenance.  Working closely with Jim House from United Way, the team was successful in completing its mission with only a few minor details left to be completed after the weekend concluded.  The major tasks completed by the team were:

  • Installation of DotNetNuke
  • Creation of the three sites
  • DNN skin creation
  • Content migration
  • One custom DNN module for artwork upload and submission
  • Investigation of load balancing support issues

Not only did the team simply perform the work, but each team member was able to expand their knowledge and understanding of site creation and maintenance using the DotNetNuke platform.  The team is anxious for the next Coders-4-Charities event!
